Volunteer
There are many ways to get involved with Presidential Meadows Elementary, whether you have a little or a lot of time to give!
When visiting the school, please report to the office and get a name tag. Parents are welcomed to volunteer in the Parent Room, 117. A teacher's workroom is located near the Parent Room and we always need help! There is always a place for you at PME. Sign Me Up! ¡Inscribeme!
- Volunteer to make a difference by joining the PTA. Help us with fundraisers such as our Glow in the Dark Dance, Hispanic Heritage Fall Fest, Spring Fling to raise the resources our scholars and teachers need. Become a classroom parent and help your scholar's teacher!
- If you’re interested in being your scholar's classroom/homeroom parent, please contact Noelia Guevara, Parent Liaison, to see if that position is available. Any parent – we have many parents who work – can be a homeroom parent; it’s easy and the time commitment is minimal. Most of the communication is via email or sign up sheets. Email noelia.guevara@manorisd.net or contact Noelia Guevara at 512-278-4225.
- Are you a dad? Then you’ll love our Watch D.O.G.S. program which invites dads to volunteer for a full day at the school at least once a year. PME would like to make it a PME tradition to have dads take a photo with their child or children each time they volunteer.
- Join our Campus Advisory Council which is composed of teachers, parents, and community members who weigh in on local education matters.
